Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez has been a Mexican American actress, singer and songwriter for several years. When she was a kid, Sara was racially taunted by a lot of Americans. It was during her ninth year that she started to feel more confident after receiving a rousing ovation in an audition. This not only increased her confidence but her dreams were changed. The 22-year-old earned an education from the Julliard School in New York. In 1993 she had her Broadway debut with Paul Simon's The Capeman. Her first film was titled You've got Mail. The most notable success of her career came in the role of The Lady of The Lake in Spamalot's first Broadway production. Not only did she win the Tony Award, but her performance was also well-received by reviewers. The following year, in 2007 she was cast on the ABC series Grey's Anatomy and became more famous. She is also a known singer and has released an extended play. Also, she is a campaigner and has been active in the field of LGBT rights.
