Annie Mist Thorisdottir comes from Iceland's Reykjavik. She also trains and coaches in Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is the co-owner. Annie is the only woman to has won CrossFit Games in two consecutive years. In 2010, she placed in second place. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter athlete and media-star. She became famous for becoming the first female to win won the two CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012. She is also known for winning the Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie as well as her both her parents and siblings was born in Reykjavik Iceland. As a child she was a huge enthusiast of fitness and sports. She took part in a variety of school competitions and was awarded a variety of medals. She first competed in CrossFit in California in 2009. The performance she showed was impressive in her initial games. Annie Thorisdottir turns 31 by 2021. Her height is about 5'7 and she weighs 70 kilograms. Annie began CrossFit at the age of 7 in California. Annie had an impressive performance in her initial games. She placed at the top of the list in 70 athletes. However, she was unable to claim any titles and finished 11th on the list of final results. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. For CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen she finished second place, and also won the silver medal same year. It was in her second year that she participated in her second CrossFit Games. Due to her outstanding performance, she became the first woman who won CrossFit Games. Annie won again the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her impressive performance. She became the first female athlete to be crowned the winner of two CrossFit Games at once. Silver medals were awarded in 2014; and in the year 2021 she received an award of bronze in the CrossFit Games. Annie is currently a coach as well as a trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik, which she started in the year 2000.
